LARRY BERGER, ESQ. has been personally representing federal law enforcement officers for over 37 years. He understands the challenges and responsibilities that come with your role and goes above and beyond to advocate for his federal law enforcement clients. Known for his strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to the interests of his clients, Larry is a trusted advocate in matters ranging from internal investigations, adverse personnel actions, congressional hearings, lethal force incidents, other critical incidents, security clearance revocations and suspensions, retirement issues, disability retirement, workers’ compensation and all employment related matters, with strong attention to off-duty incidents which impact employment. He has an in-depth understanding of federal law and administrative procedures, which allows him to navigate even the most complex and sensitive cases with precision. His commitment to his clients is unparalleled—whether it's through providing personalized legal strategies, tirelessly preparing for hearings, or standing firm in the face of challenging circumstances, Larry's advocacy is driven by a deep sense of duty and respect for those who serve our nation.

GEORGIA DEPLAS, ESQ., Of Counsel
Georgia Deplas is a former partner and founding member of Berger & Deplas, P.C. She serves as Of Counsel to Mahon & Berger, Esqs., providing experienced legal insight on a highly selective and limited basis. Her involvement is limited to matters in which she is specifically requested by a client and formally retained for that engagement.
Georgia has represented federal law enforcement officers for more than 32 years, specializing in resolving complex legal issues within the federal workplace. Georgia is also highly regarded for her expertise in managing intricate OWCP claims, where her deep knowledge of OWCP regulations and procedures enabled her to effectively protect her clients' rights throughout the claims process, from filing to appeal. Georgia has always been dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of federal workers' compensation law, ensuring they received the benefits they were entitled to following a work-related injury or illness.
Over the course of her career, Georgia has earned a reputation for professionalism, loyalty, and a steadfast commitment to safeguarding her clients' legal rights in the workplace.
Georgia received her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 1993, during which time she was published and served as a member of the International Law Review, as well as served on the Executive Board of the Criminal Law Institute. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University, graduating magna cum laude with a major in Government and Politics. Georgia is actively involved in several charitable organizations and serves as Vice President and Board Member of the De Rosa Foundation for Colon Cancer Research and Prevention. She is married and has three adult children.
