3. Is enrolling in legal services with Berger & Deplas, P.C. the only way to have Larry Berger represent me?
Yes. The only way to secure representation by Larry Berger is to sign up for legal services through Berger & Deplas, P.C.
4. If Larry Berger was the attorney handling my case while he was affiliated with FLEOA, who will represent me now?
You have two options:
You may contact FLEOA or Larry Berger to request that your case file be transferred to a current FLEOA attorney. In this case, Larry Berger will no longer be involved in your matter.
Alternatively, you can enroll in Larry Berger’s legal services on this website to ensure he continues handling your case without any interruption.

We focus exclusively on employment-related legal services for all federal law enforcement officers, duly deputized task force officers and non-law enforcement officers.

You can request that your case file be transferred from FLEOA to Berger & Deplas, P.C. Please call our office at 516-671-2688. Once you are enrolled for legal services on our website, Larry Berger will represent you.
7. Is there a waiting period after I sign up before I can receive legal services?
No. Legal coverage begins immediately upon enrollment and payment, with no waiting period. However, you must be enrolled prior to any incident for which you seek legal representation. We encourage you to sign up now to ensure you are always covered and protected.
8. How much does it cost to sign up for legal services with Berger & Deplas, P.C.?
Our services are offered on an annual fee basis. For only $200 annually, you are covered for all work related matters as described on our website.
9. Are legal services limited to work-related issues only?
Yes. Our legal services are focused strictly on employment-related matters arising from your duties as a federal employee. Off duty matters affecting your employment will be covered on a case by case basis. Please call our office.
10. Will I still be covered if I change agencies or retire?
Coverage continues for 365 days from the date of enrollment, regardless of agency changes. However, certain services may not apply after retirement; contact us for more details.
11. Can I speak directly with Larry Berger or Georgia Deplas before signing up?
